about us
i.e. opened in Edison in June of 2015. The proprietors were two highly respected artists, Margy Lavelle and David C. Kane. Their idea was to showcase the best available work of the best available artists from around the Pacific Northwest and have a venue for displaying their own work. They hope to introduce new artists to the Skagit Valley as well as highlight the work of terrific local artists who may not be as widely known as they deserve to be.
In February of 2016 Margy Lavelle became sole proprietor and has been able to maintain the quality reputation that i.e. quickly established. The curation includes frequent studio visits in order to hand pick artists and the work that will be exhibited.
Exhibits are commonly one or two person shows featuring local and regional artists. The full range of Realism to Abstract art is shown with an eye for particularly mature and developed handling of media.
