INTO THE WOODS



August is a time of retreat, from work, from the heat. We as Northwesterners, often find that place of quiet and renewal to be the woods. As artists,  David Hall, Juliet Shen and Mike Scott also find their subject matter in the woods.  For them, the trees and mountains offer restoration just as their art making revitalizes them.
