i.e. gallery is excited to announce our new collaborative gallery space Dakota Eye, in Bellingham, Washington adjacent to the Dakota Art Store.

i.e. gallery was established 10 years ago in the shuttered Edison Eye space which had been a legendary gallery for 45 years. In giving a tip of the hat to The Eye we named our space i.e. - or a clarification of something stated, or elaboration of something already there.

Now here we are 10 years later looking to share the beautiful gallery space that is part of The Dakota Art Store.  This is an additional space for us. i.e. in Edison will retain its hours and exhibit schedule. We feel that Dakota Eye is the perfect name for this new endeavor. There is a lineage of sorts here. Both owners are also North Dakota born as if we need any more synchronicity to this story.

i.e. will be bringing their roster of artists to introduce to Bellingham and a wonderful opportunity to participate in the first Friday art walks. Our exhibits will be August and December of 2025 and every other month in 2026. Dakota Art will have their usual popular exhibits from the past but condensed to a month long time line.
