Are You Listening?

come for hot cider Saturday the 16th

group exhibit

december 15th - January 7th

There is much going on out there in the world. The wake of a difficult election . The din of holiday shopping and commercial carols pounding through grocery stores and elevators. Right now the lyrics " Sleigh bells ring, are you listening..." is stuck in my head.  Not the whole song,  just the "are you listening".  Like a scratched record.  And am I listening?  Not too much because I don't really want to right now.  But I am slowing down and listening to the sounds of the natural world around me and the quiet when I have it.  Which is often. I also listen to the artists I work with and rarely get tired of listening to them. I think artists are the listeners of the world.  They have their ears to the ground for the rest of us and relay the message to us in their painting, or poetry or music.  I've had the pleasure of this good company the past year at  i.e.  and look forward to sharing it with you in this 3 week exhibit beginning Thursday the 15th of December through to the end of the month.  An exhibit of some past artists and some new to the gallery.  Hope you can make it. I am available by appointment so feel free to call or email me if you come to Edison during off hours.  Come and listen.
PEACE!
